CELC is a non-profit early learning center located in Creede, CO. We are licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care. We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.
The Early Learning Center is located just outside of town in a beautiful and natural space, with views of the Rio Grande River and surrounding mountains! Our current facilities include one building. The main level includes our kitchen and dining areas, a bathroom, our main play area, and two smaller play/nap rooms. We also have a large, fully enclosed and heated porch that serves as our entry and additional play space. Our finished basement houses our preschool classroom, a bathroom, a (locked) laundry room, and (locked) storage rooms. Our 2nd story is closed to children, and includes our staff office space and additional storage areas.
We have a wonderfully large playground that works for all four seasons! It is fully enclosed and meets all safety requirements!
